Life is funny, isn’t it?
Lucky and I weren’t always an item. Heck, you can even see posts on this blog where I introduce him as my brother because, for the longest time, we were brother and sister in Second Life. Not in the creepy Game of Thrones way (*cough*don’twakethedragon*cough*) but we were closer than friends. We took care of one another, supported one another, and during those times where our lives took us in completely different directions, there was always the security that came with knowing that there was someone, somewhere that accepted and cared for you no matter what. We could always come back.
I’m wondering how long I’ll be waiting for her to finish getting dressed this time. (I’ve lost count of the times we’ve done this.) One of the things I’m jealous of is the amount of clothes that women get in SL compared to what the men get. It’s really a pain when you’ve got an idea for something but there just is no real way to accomplish it given the options available. Then I watch Portia spend all kinds of time trying to figure out what to wear. Safe to say I’m a bit more glad to have fewer options then. Continue reading
Holy wow, busy few days!
I have been having the absolute BEST time styling for this month’s round of We <3 Role Play (opening TODAY at 3pm SLT) and, gosh, it’s a great feeling to get back into blogging with a bang like this. Like anything, the more you do the easier it gets and the bug has hit me HARD with a couple of looks that haven’t made their way up here yet. This one jumped to the front of the list, though, and I’m sure you can see why. :D
When it hits, inspiration is glorious!

“I invite you to a world where there is no such thing as time
And every creature lends themselves to change your state of mind
And the girl that chased the rabbit, drank the wine, and took the pill
Has locked herself in limbo to see how it truly feels”
Shinedown – Her Name Is Alice
Ah sweet Shinedown. That song (which is below) may have played through my head over and over while I was messing around with this idea. Continue reading
It’s the time of year where coffee or hot chocolate are such an incredible choice. At least up here in the northern United States with winter having rolled in big time this week. I envy the south when it comes to winter as it is not my season of choice! The only thing I do enjoy about it is snuggling up with a loved one (here’s looking at you Ms. Pexington!), hot chocolate (or coffee/tea if that’s your thing), and just enjoying their company.
One of my favorite events in all of Second Life kicks off it’s next round on Sunday at 7am SLT. Continue reading
It’s been almost two weeks since I’ve done a post! I’ve really been a bad blogger lately and for that I apologize. This post will probably end up being a lot more words then pictures but I think it’s one I’ve really needed to do. Probably should have done it years ago honestly. Story time my friends…
It’s nearing the end of November and Men Only Monthly is right on the horizon. The season in the northern United States is beginning to change from autumn to winter. That of course means it’s time to pull out the warmer clothes and get ready for snow!
Short post today, my dears, because we’ve had some longer ones lately and sometimes it really is nice to take a bit of a break. To relax in something comfortable and casual .. without compromising in the style department.
I think I’ve said before that I never stop shopping; it’s the reason my inventory is completely nuts but it’s also the reason I’m able to come up with some of the outfits I do. I don’t limit myself to big events or specific genres but I definitely keep my eyes on them as much as anything else. Fashion is always evolving, in SL as much as in RL, and it’s been pure pleasure to see it happen from one month to the next in here.
